Love Your Body Day
Between 50
- 80% of college males and females struggle with body dissatisfaction.
This can lead to eating disorders, depression, obesity and other mental
and physical health problems. Love Your Body Day is an event
where
women and men come together to celebrate self-acceptance and promote
positive body image. These events are offered each
year through the
Health Promotion Department and other partners on campus. Call 644-8871
for more information.
National Eating Disorders Awareness Week

Raise your hand if you know someone who struggled with
an eating disorder. National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW)
occurs every year the last week of February. Nearly
33% of
female students are using harmful or risky eating behaviors and as many
as 25-40% of female college students are concerned that their eating is
out of control or worry about body image. Call the Health Promotion
Office at 850-644-8871 for more information about
NEDAW.
Kick Butts Day

Organized by the
FSU Breathe Easy Team and sponsored by the FSU College of Medicine and
the Leon
County Health Department, Kick Butts Day is an annual celebration of
